Illuminate and Innovate: The Goyder Pavilion Lighting Transformation

The Goyder Pavilion at Wayville Showgrounds completed a major lighting upgrade in January 2024. Allphase Electrical, CNW Electrical and Energetic Lighting worked together to target an average illumination level above 650 lux for the venue's varied event programme.

Key benefits

• Energy savings: 175 Falcon highbays at up to 200 lm/W replaced the previous fluorescent system.
• Precise control: DALI dimming integrated with the existing Clipsal C-Bus system.
• Improved comfort: low-glare polycarbonate diffusers reduced harsh light for guests.
• Lower maintenance: long-life LED luminaires removed recurring fluorescent tube replacement.

The result is a more flexible event space with higher light levels, lower operating costs and a more comfortable visitor experience.
